No Stick, No Problem!

Traffic is the major problem in the cities, we get exhausted by the time we reach home. Clutch, accelerate, brake & change gears is where we spend our energy.

To eliminate this problem of ours, car manufacturers have provided us with Automatic Gearboxes. But Alas! some are jerky, some lag a lot, none of them are perfect. But wait in our today’s blog we have got you some of the smoothest transmission of all time. True!

Feature list on 2017 Hyundai Xcent Automatic

  • 4 Speed Automatic Gear Box
  • LED DRL
  • Steering Mounted Controls
  • Electrically Adjustable ORVM
  • Cooled Glove Box

Hyundai’s 2017 Xcent with 4 Gears is one of the smoothest automatic transmission available in India. Talking about the smoothness, it is so smooth you won’t even realize the gear shifting. With 82 Horses at its front wheel, it gets you going effortlessly.

Be it highways or city traffic we can easily get from point A to point B. Even at speeds of 100 mph, the rpm needle is at 2500 which is quite ok because cruising above that is not possible on our roads.

The Xcent with the automatic gearbox gets LED Daytime Running Lights(DRL) which make it look sharper and muscular. This new Xcent now also sports a new Hexagonal Grille which blends with the New Puffed Up Dual-Tone  Bumper.

Fluidic as it is in design, the flow also continues at the back. It is all re-designed at the back, the Split Tail Lights look very nice and are inspired by its elder sister the Elantra. The Rear Bumper is also Dual Tone and Beefed up, giving it a look like no other car in this segment can be.

Is It?

Via Keyless foldable entry key fob, we open the door sporting the all 4 power windows & electrically foldable & adjustable ORVM(Outside Rear-View Mirrors) switches.

The Interior has Beige & Black finished dashboard with functionalities like 4 Speaker Audio System Supporting Radio, Bluetooth, USB & AUX. Steering has controls for the audio system, calling functionality with trip meter settings.

The Glove Box is cooled which means a lot when you have drinks with you. Passengers at the back are greeted with comfortable seats with adjustable headrests and arm rests making them feel comfortable too which the rear Air-Con vents help a lot in cooling easily.

Cup holders are designed perfectly, to hold a cup or a deep big pocket for large bottle. Seats on the Xcent are supportive and are designed with care for the Spine. Cabin insulation is 2 layered, thus it filters out almost all road noises and gives us a peaceful mind.

The suspension is improved a lot considering it’s previous experience. With these 4 qualities of Smooth Shifts, Comfortable Seats, Suspension Improvements & Insulation, Ride Quality is way high above its competitors. In a liter, it returns 8 KMs in the city and 15 KMs on the highway, which can be called as a decent one.

Though being this good the 2017 Xcent Automatic  still lags on features like

  • Fully Automatic Climate Control
  • Alloy Wheels
  • 7″ Touch  Screen
  • Smart Key
  • Rear Parking Camera

Should one buy this Hyundai Xcent Automatic which is limited to only one variant who has competitors which offer the features it lags but again those not capable to give us a smooth drive which this one does and At 7.08 Lakhs Ex-Showroom Price, it can be a fair deal though!
