Newly launched Lenovo K8 Note vs Xiaomi Redmi note 4
Lenovo has launched a new smartphone in the note segment the Lenovo K8 Note. The phone is slated to compete with several brands like Samsung, Honor, Coolpad, Nokia and others, but the biggest rival currently in this segment is the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4.
While the first question is whether Lenovo K8 Note is a better phone than the Xiaomi device? but an ever bigger thing to think about is, whether the differences will be enough to convince users to choose the former ahead of the latter?.
Xiaomi is continuously launching new smartphones in every budget segment.Xiaomi has gained lot of users faith with there smartphones.
Recently Xiaomi’s Redmi Note 4 was declared as #1 most selling phone in India.So the question arise is whether Lenovo K8 Note is a better phone than the Xiaomi device.Lets find out:

Indians are very keen in terms of pricing of a product. The 3GB RAM and 32GB storage variant of Lenovo K8 Note has been priced at Rs 12,999. The 4GB RAM and 64 GB storage model comes with a price tag of Rs 13,999.
Meanwhile, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 can be bought for Rs 9,999 for the 2GB RAM and 32GB storage model, Rs 10,999 for the 3GB RAM and 32GB storage variant and Rs 12,999 for the 4GB RAM and 64GB storage version.
The Lenovo K8 Note features a ten-core MediaTek Helio X23 (MT6797D) processor clocked at 2.3Ghz. For graphic intensive tasks it has Mali-T880 MP4 GPU with the clock speed up to 780MHz.
Meanwhile, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 has the Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 octa-core SoC with the clock speed up to 2.0Ghz. For graphic intensive tasks it has Adreno™ 506 GPU with the clock speed up to 650MHz.
Both the phones feature same 5.5-inch full HD resolution and ~401ppi displays. Features like viewing angles and screen resolutions are also very close to each other.
Lenovo K8 Note runs on stock Android 7.1.1 and the company will rollout the Android O update for sure in future as they announced.
The Redmi Note 4 got MIUI 8 stable rom update based on Android 7.0 and soon will get new features in coming miui update which is MIUI 9.
Lenovo K8 Note has a dual camera setup with dual LED flash. In the dual setup main camera features a 13MP sensor while the second camera has a 5MP sensor. This dual camera setup allows users to click DSLR like images, in with a focus on the foreground and a blurred background. There is a 13MP selfie camera at the front.
Meanwhile, the Redmi Note 4 sports only one 13MP camera along with dual-tone LED flash at the back. As a selfie camera, the phone has a 5MP shooter at the front.
Redmi Note 4 is more popular than lenovo’s phone but here lenovo has played a smart game by adding more features like dual camera setup and 13MP selfie camera which is not present in Redmi note 4 .
But with dual camera and pure stock Android software, this smartphone will surely challenge the Redmi Note 4.
